Recently attended the beginners 2 hour archery session. The whole experience was a lot of fun! You are given a bow (matched to your requirements) and a quiver with 6 arrows. After a short health and safety talk and initial training on using the bow, you are given the go ahead to shoot your quiver full of arrows after which a little more training and technique is provided followed by again shooting your quiver full of arrows. Overall, we got the chance to shoot many, many arrows and most of the 2 hours was spent actively engaging in the sport of archery. From absolute beginners at the beginning of the session, it was clear that we all markedly improved by the end of the 2 hours (a testament to the skills of the trainer). The trainer was lovely, encouraging and very good at giving instruction. The pricing was fair (30 each for 2 hours) and the hourly rates are excellent. Another extra bonus are the two beautiful dogs that come and say hello upon arrival! :) Even though we do not live in Glasgow, we will be making the trip more regularly so we can have more fun shooting arrows! :)
