We used this company for conveyancing and they were fantastic. Our solicitor, Rachel Butterfield, was incredibly attentive to us as a client and looked through everything with a fine tooth comb, which gave us 100% assurance that everything was being taken care of. Good value for money and very professional. Also, great to see a team of legal professionals where the women outnumber the men. In short, we would highly recommend Rachel and Guest Walker

I don't usually write reviews for things that aren't pubs/restaurants I've visited and enjoyed and feel others should know about, so this is a bit of a curve ball! Upon deciding that myself and my partner were going to relocate from Peterborough to York, we decided to find a local, York-based firm who would (hopefully) be more familiar with the local estate agents and other solicitors to keep the process moving along at a reasonable pace. As part of our due diligence we decided to make a short list of firms by phoning them up and starting to request a quote. After deciding to go with guest walker, I'm pleased to say we couldn't have been more delighted. Rachel and the team have been excellent throughout the process. Never falling to phone back when asked - and being very helpful at every milestone. We had a few hiccups when purchasing our property - primarily driven by other parties in the chain (namely our buyer) but after much prodding and poking by Rachel, our buyers' solicitor pulled their finger out and got on with the process. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Rachel, where other solicitors firms would simply say "no" or "ah we can't do that" - Rachel very clearly explains what the options are, what she recommends and what would lead to the best outcome. Without hesitation would continue to use guest walker again for every engagement we have whether that be another house purchase or any other legal process. 10/10!
