The Botanist Warrington

We visited here during the week for some lunch. We were warmly greeted by nice front of house staff. Looking around , it has beautiful botanical interior and a lovely ambience . Our food was gorgeous. We both ordered the gambas pil pil for starters . We had the steak and chips the steak was cooked to perfection and chicken hanging kebab, with a great selection of wines and gins. Our host was polite and helpful , recommended good food options, and was complimentary to our choices. I would highly recommend the Botanist in Warrington. Thank you for a nice afternoon lunch.

The food is really lovely, the decor is very nice however, service was very slow, at the bar, between courses, the wait was very disappointing then to top it off a live singer, great you may say but far to loud and screechy when having a meal then unable to hold a conversation - advice would be to request to sit upstairs to lessen the loudness if you want a pleasant meal. Music while you are eating, to me, should be subdued in the background, not bursting your eardrums while your eating.
