It's entrance is next door, to the left of the Bull public house. Dont Park in the pub, they don't like that. There is a car park down a short entry way marked with a "P". It is pay and display.
The woods are quite extensive with several trails. Popular with walkers, dog walkers, cyclists and horse riders.
There is a good children's play ground in the area too with a selection of play equipment to suit from young to older children.
At weekends a trailer selling hot and cold refreshments is set up near to the play area where there are picnic tables.
A great place fir families to visit.
