I've bought 5 cars in total from Richmond but would advise anyone to consider another provider. My previous cars had been Hyundai's but the brand new MG3 I bought in 2020 developed a fault with the steering rack and pump after just 9 months. I bought the car for my ex wife as part of the divorce settlement. Richmond diagnosed the fault in 2021 but my ex wife didn't feel able to take the car in for the repair due to covid and because my daughter was having treatment for leukaemia at the time and they refused to provide any curtesy car whilst repairs were carried out to a defective car. My ex thought the issue had resolved (she doesn't know much about cars) but the car failed the MOT because of the faulty steering rack and pump. MG said the warranty wasn't valid because the problem was worse because she had continued to drive the car. The repair originally required was to replace the steering rack and pump, which was exactly the same repair needed now. Richmond had no loyalty to a customer who'd bought 5 cars from them previously, zero empathy. Richmond were happy to charge 1,700 to replace the steering rack and pump on a car less than 3 years old. Avoid MG and Richmond at all costs.

Excellent service and assistance from start to finish. Andreea and Himat worked hard to get me my car fast and handover was excellent. Five stars.
