George's Dock has the beautiful 3 white buildings (The ThreeGraces) built over it. When visiting here take a moment to rememberthat there was an important dock built in the late 1700's under your feet! Written 1810 about the dock This important improvement of the harbour was George's dock, which was more spacious than either of the former, and, with its piers and quay, was not only a great accommodation to the shipping, but contributed much to the magnificence of the port, and constituted one of the most conspicuous ornaments of the town. It was begun with a promptitude creditable to the spirit of improvement which has always distinguished the corporation of Liverpool, and, after several years of laborious exertion, it was completed in the year 1771. (Translated by Google) A treat for people who like street photography and architecture. Monumental buildings, even in the era of skyscrapers, make a great impression. (Original) Gratka dla ludzi lubicych street photo i architektur. Monumentalne budynki, nawet w epoce drapaczy chmur, robi ogromne wraenie.
