The lower park had a set of swings and tall climbing logs. The large tree, which is still there used to have a tree swing which the children used to dare each other to have a go on. Today it has a circular path around the upper park with the original concrete seats. I find it a really lovely tranquil place to sit and remember childhood adventures. Well worth taking a picnic and at the time of writing super old fashioned blackberries to be picked!. There are no facilities here but maybe a stop off at The Railway Pub would be useful. Access is by The Private and on foot down the path from Newquay Drive.
