Stayed here so many times over the years I've lost count. However, recently the hotel has slipped a little in its standards, the rooms certainly need some real attention...especially on cleanliness. The staff are amazing....they are friendly and helpful, the 24hr reception is good, always someone on call and the food......Well, the food is excellent and again the waiting staff are excellent at their job. Just update the rooms and it will be a fantastic place to stay again. Unable to add pictures. Food & drinks: Excellent quality food and quiet bar.

Have stayed here several times over the years when attending family occasions locally. Friendly, helpful, polite staff. Reception is open 24hra a day so if you come back late from an event it's not a problem. We have stayed in the standard double room recently, Good sized room, comfy bed, soft clean carpet on the floor, nice clean ensuite bathroom, free wifi code. Heater on wall in room you can pop on if its chilly. Previously we have used the family room. These are a fabulous size with double bed double pull out sofa bed and room to add extra beds if you are booking for a family with more than 2 children. Lots of room for the kids to move around and a large family sized ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. Tea and coffee making facilities and tv in room. Downstairs there is a restaurant it opens at lunch and evening for meals although weve only ever been in there for breakfast. Breakfast is served between 8am and 9.30am. There is a large continental selection, lovely fresh baked croissants, toast cereal cheese jams, marmalade, marmite, yoghurt, fruit. Water, fresh orange and fresh apple juice. Tea coffee. Cooked food bacon sausages mushrooms Hash browns, black pudding, scrambled egg, chopped tomatoes and fried egg freshly cooked if requested. The breakfast is buffet style all you can eat and we always really enjoy it. There is outside table and chairs for when the weather is nice and a sending machine in reception for that put of hours bottle of water or juice etc. There is a free car park in hotel grounds. Overall we always have a pleasant comfortable stay and would recommend to all. Safety: Fire exits are well lit up and can be found at both ends of the corridor on all floors. Fire extinguishers are situated on the wall in the corridor. The family room are on the top floor and the windows are velux windows so very safe for children.
