I just want to spend a minute this morning giving a shout out to Hazel Pilling BA (Hons) CMI. During my planning to come out of Covdi-19 bigger, better and stronger, I started to think about how to grow our business. To do this I gave a call into C&W Chamber of Commerce and got through to Hazel. Little did I know where this would lead! What started as a quick conversation, quickly turned into a brainstorming session, with Hazel emailing our to others in the team to get me the right information to enable me to success! Then, 24 hours later, when I thought everything was over, I received another call back from Hazel where she has been in touch with one of her business contacts to help me further. I have been a Chamber Member for nearly 3 years in total, and have seen the team excel at supporting the local business community during this pandemic. During the recession the contract programming work that I had been use to dried up and I found myself in a position of having to re-invent myself. Coventry Chamber of Commerce provided me with a mentor and access to a series of training sessions which were extremely valuable. I'm now on the chamber's mailing list and receive regular invites to networking meetings and events set up to promote and support local business in Coventry
