Phone Surgery Brighton

Took my Huawei P30 pro for a new screen after cracking it. Although the guy was a thoroughly nice chap my phone never worked properly again. The screen would freeze and become unresponsive occasionally but the worst thing was the NFC sensor would not work which caused me numerous problems making payments. He did try to fix it a couple of times, he even showed me it working with his card reader in his shop but next time I tried....nothing. in the end I bought a new phone. 120 down the pan.

Friendly staff but my phone has more issues now. A cheaper, poor quality screen was used to replace my broken screen (would have happily paid more than the 90 quoted for the replacement screen if I had known this wasn't an original but was not informed that a cheaper screen was going to be used,). Screen capture no longer works due to it not being an original screen, issues with the sensor meaning I can't listen to voice notes or make phone calls without the screen turning off (they offered to try and fix this issue but needed my pin number and my phone for the day which I felt uncomfortable doing). Issues with sensitivity when typing meaning random characters are assigned and spaces in text. And whilst the phone was in a full protective phone wallet/case the screen cracked at less than a 3ft drop on the floor. 90 and 3 weeks later my phone screen is still cracked along with added complications that did not exist previously. **edited** Since then i have had my screen replaced again elsewhere, I paid a lot more but it is a much better screen and all the functions work again. They pointed out that whoever replaced the screen previously (phone surgery) didn't even put it on properly. Definitely stay away!!!

These guys are great - super friendly customer service, always v efficient and quick with repairs and prices are v reasonable, too. My go-to place for phone/ipad repairs in Brighton.
