The check-in process was very easy, rooms were spotless, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Truly everything was perfect - other B&B's should take note! The rooms were so clean and decorated in a beautiful, minimalist calming way. Coffee station was filled with various drink options and even some chocolate bars, very lovely little touch. It's a short walking distance from Brighton Pier meaning you get away from the hustle and bustle for a proper rest in very comfortable beds. I don't have a single bad thing to say, thank you so much White House for making my mother's birthday trip so pleasant. We will be back!

After about 36 hrs of total travel time from the US, we finally made it to The White House for the first night of a 3 week trip around the UK and Ireland. We could not have asked for a better start. Communication with Sean via text and email was quick and easy. He was extraordinarily responsive, accommodating and helpful. The location is a very short walk from the boardwalk, which is where we parked (no onsite parking, but we found street parking to be easy and fairly inexpensive). After setting down our stuff and taking in our adorable room (up a very narrow and steep staircase, so take care if you have lots or big luggage), we walked maybe a half mile to an Indian restaurant called Bay Leaf. Delicious! We then slept like the dead in a quiet room, with a comfortable bed and just the right hint of sea air. Next, breakfast. My first full English in more than 25 years and it was something. The food was delicious. The coffee strong and rich. The breakfast room comfie, fellow travelers charming, service impeccable. I dont normally like mushrooms, but would have happily eaten a plate of these. In fact, Im now officially a mushroom fan and order them in restaurants by choice! All in all, we had a lovely stay and only wish wed had more than one night. When we next visit this part of England, and we will, this is where we will stay. Highly recommend.
