The best Karate Club around, led by former European Champion, Sensei Fawcett, for over 35 years, the club trains 3 times a week at Richard Dunne's. It's good old fashioned training with one of Britain's best coaches. My kids have trained with him for over 10 years and have been National Champions over 30 times between them. Give it a try, it's worth it.

This business is very disorganised with inconsistent pricing and an extremely rude attitude by the retired "sensei" Fawcett. I'm quite surprised that this business is able to operate in the new Sedbergh leisure centre with it's lack of professionalism. I took my two children for the first time as my wife organised this via Facebook (image attached). We were informed that it was 12 per child for 3 sessions. When we got there, the children had their first karate lesson and the "sensei" informed me that it was 15 per child and they required cash only. I was mislead on the pricing as we were informed different. I was also unaware that it was cash only as this was not mentioned in their comms. Most people would not assume this in 2022! I told the "sensei" that I can make a bank transfer now or can come back later with cash or even pay next week. I am a member of the gym there so I have absolutely no intention of running anywhere over a few pounds. The retired "sensei" very rudely called me a "con", clearly assuming that I was there for a freebie and asked me to leave his dojo in front of others. His attitude towards me was very discriminatory. This is absolutely pathetic service and I have raised a formal complaint with the Sedbergh leisure centre. I will be informing HMRC to create awareness of this little cash dojo. It seems that you're the con here Fawcett and I'm sure soon all will be revealed.
