Potter and Pollard

I first joined (I say "joined" deliberately because I have been with this accountant so long, they feel like family) Potter and Pollard in 1998, after a recommendation from Citizen's Advice. I met the owner/Managing Partner, Rohan Bagshawe when starting my own business and the advice he gave me at the time was invaluable and has stood me in good stead to this day. My business ceased trading in 2020 (due to my age) and when my son asked for my advice (he lives in South Africa) - I had no hesitation in recommending P+P to represent him here; so the relationship continues, albeit at arms length. I have come across several accountants in my career but P+P top the lot; I wish we had met 20 years earlier.

Andrew and his team made me feel comfortable being able to ask any questions and ensured I was fully aware of all details regarding my complicated Tax Return. Lorraine and I cannot speak more highly of Dee Fidler who has been our rock. Super efficient and always promptly returns our calls. Not many people look forward to Tax Returns however, Dee is so reassuring and calming that we really feel she has our back. In todays society it is a rare gift.
